about
Following the horrific events of 'Herald of Ascension' Earthling Jeremy Jackson Wells finds himself obsessed with the story of Father CNTRL taking his faithful congregation aboard the space vessel Narada and plunging headlong into the black hole, thusly reemerging as a massive black planet now headed to Earth.
He then hears a booming godlike voice in his head "bring me forth a new Church Of Orion, that we might destroy the Earth in my name. Your true self will now be The Prophet Of Oblivion. Gather the faithful and wait for my sign......"
lyrics
If you are hearing this, this is the end
The end of all existence
Return to where you came from
From which you will start again
You are now free
Ascension be praised
Great existential change
All life is being erased, at the time of interface
Your mind
Your blood
Your bones
Your heart
Your soul
Torn from you to feed a brand new God
We called the great orb from the sky
We are the Church of Orion, we change and never die
As sentinels
We hunt
We kill
We roam
We serve ascension as its loyal drones
Eternal genocide
Of universal life
Until all are one
This planet's circumference is swallowed whole
He is the herald of ascension, with him your bell will toll
A planet eater
Feeder
Universal life deceiver
Collective of devoured, and depleted souls
Infinite torrents of nothingness
A plague in the depths of space of sentient nothingness
Our minds are one
His sons
The church, its call
We honour the sacred path to trigger your downfall
Eternal genocide
Of universal life
Until all are one
Ascension be praised
Great existential change
All life is being erased, at the time of interface
Your mind
Your blood
Your bones
Your heart
Your soul
Torn from you to feed a brand new God
We called the great orb from the sky
We are the Church of Orion, we change and never die
As sentinels
We hunt
We kill
We roam
We serve ascension as its loyal drones
